I ran the NYC Marathon for Team Paws in Chicago and the Rock-N-Roll D.C. Half-Marathon. I also love Cross Fit, tennis, swimming, volleyball and Salsa dancing.

I come from a family of public servants. My father served as a Flight Engineer in the Air Force and retired as a Claims Authorizer with the Social Security Administration. My mother was a nurse in the NYC public hospital system and my brother is a Police Officer with the NYPD.
I adopted Rhianna in Belize. She has more stamps in her passport than most people, volunteers as a therapy dog at Veterans homes in Washington DC with P.A.L. and is my constant companion.
I started a Big Brothers/Big Sisters like volunteer group with my colleagues in Brazil, collect backpacks for the children of Eritrean asylum seekers in Israel, volunteer with P.A.L. and still contribute to CBS4 News Neighbors 4 Neighbors to help Miami residents in need.
